December Step Challenge for Dublin Simon Community

Cogent’s December Step Challenge is underway once again. Five teams are walking, running, cycling or swimming their way through December to help raise money for Dublin Simon Community and tackle homelessness.

Who do you know at Cogent? Find out which Team they are on and donate to keep them motivated.

We have set ourselves a target of 2,000,000 steps – please lend your support with a donation and help the homeless this Winter – every donation helps, no matter how big or small.

Thank you for your support.

Shining a Light on Homelessness

We were delighted to take part in this years’ Shine A Light charity event, organised by Focus Ireland who help families, young people and children at risk or affected by homelessness. A number of brave souls from Cogent Associates, along with over 1000 people across Ireland, slept out on Friday 18th October, to raise awareness and Shine a Light on homelessness.

This was a fundraising initiative that was kicked off with a series of Friday bake sales at Cogent, featuring a delicious array of home baked goods, including scones, brownies, sausage rolls and lemon drizzle cake, raising nearly €400. We have since received very generous donations from our colleagues, clients and supporters, which has helped us to raise an amazing €4,000.

We would like to thank everyone who donated and those who slept out. Not forgetting Focus Ireland and the volunteers, who do such great work to support people who are homeless.
